Michael Strassman (1959-2007)
Today I remember my brother, Michael Strassman who was found dead on this day July 1, 2007. He struggled with an addiction to crystal meth for five years and that horrendous drug won in the end. My brother was a good soul and one of the most creative people I have ever known. He could always make me laugh with his silliness, yet he had an intelligence that always transcended his years.
Michael was a rock climber, photographer, videographer and musician. He died while I was recording my third CD “Fond Desire Farewell” and in 2009, I put together a slideshow of Mike’s photos and set it to one of the songs on the recording, Chris Moore’s “Wall of Stone” Enjoy.
