Debra’s UK Tour Getting Great Reviews

Thanks to my friend, Hilary Ward for making the badges for the tour.
The “In For £1000 Pounds Out for a Penny UK Tour” is going very well. Here are some of the comments from audience members:
From Alex in York: “Really enjoyed seeing you at Black Swan. Excellent night!”
From Mary in York (via Twitter): “Great first set from Debra Cowan. Songs of hardship interspersed with lighter stuff and an even better second half and a mention for the great Billy Bragg too!”
From Rosemary: “Thank you so much for the great time you gave us last night. It was such a joy to hear you sing and play once again, so please could it be an Annual Event?” (hint for Jenny!)
From Steve (Bracknell Folk Club) : “We were lucky enough to catch Debra Cowan at a house concert on Saturday. She’s over from darkest America on tour. We thought she was great so we’re booking her for next year’s tour…”
From Nigel Schofield: “Great night with Debra at the [Bacca Pipes Folk] Club. Fine songs, fine singing and that encore (and hey, when was the last time anyone sang Pink Floyd in a folk club?). Nice to have some unusual themed stuff for international women’s day from an international woman. Thanks, Deb”
So if you are anywhere near Ayecliffe, Edinburgh or Moffat, come on out and bring your singing voices!
