Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to postpone this event to July 31, 2025. Registration link is the same. We have over 50 people signed up, but so far there is still room.
I have known Jerry for over 25 years. My first encounter with him was when he did a small concert in Amherst, MA back in 1998. We continued to run into each other at various sea music events and after a while we became good friends. It was Jerry who penned “The Dreadnought Mutiny” that appears on my live album “Among Friends”. He has written a number of celebrated songs related to the Maritime genre. One of my favorites is “Harbo and Samuelson”
I’ll be speaking with Jerry about his latest CD “Salty Dick Rises Again – More Uncensored Sailor Songs”. This is a sequel to an album that Jerry created a while back called “Uncensored Sailor Songs”. and these are the only traditional folk music recordings that I know of that have Parental Advisory stickers on them.
This concert will be recorded. If you cannot attend, you can let me know and I’ll send a link to you for future viewing.
DISCLAIMER: Some of the songs may contain explicit or potentially offensive lyrics. Please attend at your own discretion but most importantly with a sense of humor! If this material is not your “cuppa” that’s okay, but we wanted to alert you ahead of time.
