About Online performances
My online performance with February Sky on March 21 was very successful and I received a lot of positive feedback. Many folks who live far away from the Northeast USA encouraged me to do more, so now I’ll be doing just that.
I had not really enjoyed online performances in the past because it feels like a one-way situation, but after that performance in March, I had a think on it and I feel a bit differently now. I think the change came because since 2020, many of my interactions have been on Zoom whether it’s in meetings, singing sessions (which have continued since the pandemic), or just connecting with far-away friends. I am now quite used to the platform and have sprung for the Zoom upgrade.
My plan is to do more solo online performances in the future, but also I’ll be bringing in friends to join me, so stay tuned!
