Next Dining Room Table Concert – Sept 17th 6 PM EDT
I decided to use the title above for the name of these online concerts. I originally used the word “online” and one of my more savvy friends said I should eliminate the “online” so I did. Since I do them from my dining room and using our dining room table (a lovely re-purposed old barn door!) it seemed like an appropriate way to describe these. I didn’t really like the generic “online concert” title so I decided on this one.
The theme for this online concert is “RESIST!” I’ll sing some of my favorite songs about fights for rights through our English-speaking history and many of these will be contemporary songs, though I might sneak in a traditional one or two.
