In For £1000 Out For A Penny 2015 UK Tour
This afternoon I embark on a now-familiar routine: I’ll take a plane from Boston to Philadelphia and there, I’ll take another plane to Manchester, UK. Collect the hired car (I have now had four years in a row where I was able to return a hired car with no mishaps!) and arrive at my first destination to get over jet lag and prepare for three weeks on the road in the UK.
My stops will take me to familiar places: Stockport, Liverpool, Ulverston, Leighton Buzzard, and West Sussex. I’ll be in two very new places, Twickenham and Faversham on this trip. You can see the tour schedule in the calendar section of the website
My UK trips are becoming an annual event and with each year I go over, I get to spend time with old friends and make new ones. I do hope that folks will make the effort and time to come out to the folk clubs where I’ll be singing. These are all special folks who keep a long-standing tradition going and I am very grateful that they kindly fit me into their schedules.
