Gettin’ On the Travelin’ Shoes
This Wednesday I load up the Blue Meanie and head south. I’ll begin this journey by attending a house concert of my very good friend, singer, songwriter, activist and AFM Local 1000 brother Reggie Harris in Baltimore. Then on Friday the 13th (!), I’ll be getting up with the sun to join Heather Panki on WOWD Takoma Radio at 7 AM “Ballads In the Morning” to talk about, well…Ballads! I’ll be doing a house concert in Takoma Park, MD sponsored by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington, a debut performance at Isis Music Hall in Asheville, NC, a house concert for Whistlepig Productions in Atlanta, GA and a private event in Sarasota, FL. In between these dates, I’ll be visiting friends and seeing various sites on my journey.
