If it says debracowan.com/category/product then you know it is a post because it has a category.

Single posts in any category will look like debracowan.com/category/press/2012/08/great-review-of-the-new-album.

If you are viewing a page or single post, you should see a link to Edit this. Clicking on it will take you straight to the post or page in question.
